Zhong Lun Advised on HUIZE’s IPO on NASDAQ
On February 12, 2020, Huize (NASDAQ:HUIZ), an online insurance platform in China, announced its initial public offering and listing on the Nasdaq Stock Market(the “IPO") and became the first listing online insurance platform. The upsized IPO of Huize is about $55.12 million based on the issue price of $10.50 per share. Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and China International Capital Corporation Hong Kong Securities Limited acted as joint leading underwriters, while Tiger Brokers (NZ) Limited and Valuable Capital Limited acted as joint sub-underwriters for the offering.
Zhong Lun Law Firm acted as the PRC counsel to the joint underwriters in the offering and assisted Huize to go public. The legal team from Zhong Lun was led by Partner Jihong Lai, Anthony Qiao and Michael Chen, and included Grace Wang, and Ziwei Li.
