Zhong Lun Advises on TME’s Notes Offering
On September 11, 2026, Tencent Music Entertainment Group (NYSE: TME, 01698.HK), the leading all-in-one music and audio entertainment platform in China, announced its successful public offering of USD 1 billion aggregate principal amount of its senior unsecured notes. The notes have been registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and are listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
In this offering, J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and HSBC acted as the joint bookrunners, with UBS, BOC, and MUFG as the joint lead managers, where Zhong Lun Law Firm acted as the PRC legal counsel to the underwriters. The Zhong Lun team was led by partner William Jia, and included associate Myron Hu, as well as Alex Bai, Yvonne Zhou, and others; partner Anthony Zhao also provided important support to this transaction.
