Aaron YU
Aaron has broad experience in the resolution of complex commercial disputes through arbitration, litigation and negotiation. He has particular experience in commodity trading and distribution contract disputes, PE investment disputes, corporate and shareholder disputes, real estate and construction disputes, and complex disputes that have international elements. Aaron also helps many foreign clients in the recognition and enforcement proceedings of foreign arbitral awards in Chinese courts under the New York Convention.
Aaron also has extensive experience in assisting multinational companies doing business in China on such matters as establishment of joint ventures and wholly foreign-owned enterprises, financing, merger and acquisition, retail and franchising, etc. His clients are in a wide range of industries, including automobile manufacturing and distribution, automobile components distribution, chemicals, garments, food and catering, IT and high-tech, etc.
Aaron was included as an expert in China in Corporate INTL ‘Who’s Who - Find an Adviser Handbook’ (dispute resolution).

Assisted a U.S. leading service outsourcing company in purchasing the call center business of a PRC company in Tianjin
Assisted a U.S. Fortune 500 company in setting up its warehousing center for its marine business in Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone
Provided legal support for a well-known U.S. auto parts company in a major cross-border restructuring transaction with its Chinese listed shareholder

Represented a Finnish estate of bankruptcy in a series of shareholders’ disputes and share redemption cases before Jiujiang Intermediate People’s Court and Jiangxi Higher People’s Court;
Representing a German window profile manufacturer and its Chinese subsidiary in a series of cases regarding intercompany transactions and breach of director’s fiduciary duties before Suzhou Intermediate People’s Court, Jiangsu Higher People’s Court and PRC Supreme People’s Court;
