3. Cybersecurity and data protection

Provided legal advice to many multinational enterprises on compliance issues such as collection of user data and cross-border data transfer.

Provided consulting and legal services for many multinational companies on legal documents draft with respect to personal privacy policy and user policy, etc.

Provided comprehensive legal services including review and improvement of the network security compliance system for a giant Internet medical care company.

Provided legal due diligence and legal consulting services for Toyota Motor with comprehensive legal analysis and advice on the legal system and policies, legal risks and trend prediction (including road test license, mapping, responsibility undertaking, data security and personal information protection) related to autonomous driving in China with regard to the investment in an autonomous driving startup named Pony AI.

Provided data compliance review services for Yamato, an international logistics company, and proposed rectification suggestions on how to build data compliance system.

Assisted a well-known auto technology enterprise and a well-known US SPAC company in their merger and listing project in the US, and provided professional legal advice on data compliance and cyber security review involved therein.

4. Corporate compliance

Provided legal services for many multinational enterprises in formulating their internal compliance guidelines (mainly in anti-commercial bribery), and consulting, compliance investigation and other legal services for a number of compliance cases (mainly in fraud cases such as commercial bribery, job embezzlement, etc.).

5. Commercial arbitration and litigation

Represented several Japanese funded enterprises to deal with debt recovery cases, which involves litigation and arbitration procedures, and the subject matter of the cases amounted to hundreds of millions RMB. Also represented several Japanese enterprises in the arbitration held by China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission for the disputes arising from their investment and merger projects, and finally obtained the awards to clients’ satisfaction.
