Li HAO
Mr. Hao has over 20 years of experience providing legal services in the energy and power industry. He brings extensive hands-on experience in the development and construction, engineering contracting, investment and financing, as well as mergers and acquisitions of various energy projects, including wind power, solar power, nuclear power, hydropower, as well as emerging domains such as new energy storage, green power direct connection, and integrated energy utilization. His expertise has earned the trust and high regard of numerous domestic and international corporate clients, including SPIC, CEEC, TBEA, GLP, SP Group, and others.
In recent years, under Mr. Hao’s leadership, his team has advised on hundreds of domestic and international energy and infrastructure projects, involving a total installed capacity exceeding 60 million kW. He has also represented clients in a large number of complex litigation and arbitration cases related to EPC general contracting, project financing, and equity transactions.
Mr. Hao is among the first cohort of experts of the bidding and procurement industry appointed by the China Tendering & Bidding Association. He also serves as Chartered Builder (MCIOB) of the Chartered Institute of Building (UK) and an arbitrator of the Hangzhou Arbitration Commission. He has authored multiple legal practice publications, including Legal Practice of Development, Construction, Investment and M&A in New Energy Projects. Since 2013, he has been consecutively recognized for more than a decade in the Energy & Natural Resources category by Chambers. He has also been repeatedly recommended by leading legal ranking institutions such as IFLR1000, The Legal 500, and Asian Legal Business (ALB).
