In the field of cross-border investments, LI Guang has extensive expertise in providing full-range legal services for prominent companies in equity investments, business transfers, and international product launch projects. Particularly, LI specializes in navigating the complexities of investment projects involving the South Korean market.
In the area of dispute resolution, LI has successfully represented clients in diverse domestic and cross-border disputes. His experience encompasses a number of litigations and arbitration cases related to international trade, and cross-border investment.
For trade compliance and remedies, LI has an impressive record serving as legal counsel in investigations initiated by the Ministry of Commerce of China. In addition, he has been actively involved in representing the Chinese government in WTO dispute settlements and Chinese enterprises in trade remedy investigations globally, including the United States, European Union, South Korea, and India, among others. LI was recognized with a special recommendation on “The Legal 500: Asia Pacific - Greater China List" in 2023.
Additionally, LI provides legal consultation services for large state-owned enterprises in relation to the establishment of international trade compliance systems. LI has also contributed to research on topics such as trade with North Korea and related sanctions.
