Feng WU
Ms. Feng Wu holds a J.D. degree from and has completed a postdoctoral fellowship in finance at Wuhan University. She is an active member of various organizations, including the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). In the legal sphere, Ms. Wu serves as a member of the Finance Committee of the All-China Lawyers’ Association and holds multiple leadership roles, including Deputy Director of the Hubei Provincial Legal Committee of the DAB, member of the Hubei Provincial Judge and Prosecutor Selection Committee, deputy director of the Hubei Provincial Lawyers Association's Committee for Participation in Politics and Deliberation on Politics, and deputy director of the Wuhan Tongxin Lawyers' Service Group. Additionally, Ms. Wu contributes to academia as a researcher at the Counter-Terrorism Research Center of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and supervises master’s degree students at Hubei University.
Ms. Wu specializes in economic criminal defense, bankruptcy reorganization and liquidation, and restructuring and disposal of non-performing assets. Over her career, she has acted as administrator for Wuhan Xinshenglong Business Hotel Management Co., Ltd., administrator for Hubei Rongsheng Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., administrator for Wuhan Nanyang Jindi Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., administrator for Wuhan Dongchen Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., member of the liquidation committee for Xiaogan Zhongbao Baixin Tourism Development Co., Ltd., administrator for An’neng (Qujialing) Biomass Power Generation Co., Ltd., administrator for the consolidated reorganization of Hubei Zhongdi Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. and 17 other enterprises, administrator for the bankruptcy of Jingmen Baigu Feng Technology Co., Ltd., member of the liquidation committee for Wuhan Hankou Jingwu Food Industry Park Co., Ltd., and administrator for Hengrun Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. Ms. Wu has provided legal services for more than 50 cases concerning reorganization or liquidation. The landmark criminal defense cases she has handled include "a bank suspected of the crime of illegal loan issuance", a case for which the investigation was called off by the public security authorities, and "an individual suspected of the crime of illegal mining", a case against which the procuratorate dropped charges.
