Mr. Ye has been practicing law since 1995. Prior to joining Zhong Lun in 2003, Mr. Ye practiced at Jingtian Law Firm for many years and worked briefly as a visiting lawyer in the Hong Kong office of Linklaters.

Representative Matters

  • Acted as PRC counsel to issuers/underwriters for more than 100 major bonds offerings, with issuers including China Mobile, PetroChina, Eagle International, and China.com

  • Participated in nearly 100 domestic and overseas bond issuance projects, with clients including the Ministry of Railways, CITIC Group, PetroChina, China Resources, China Merchants Group, China Cinda, China Datang Group, Huaneng Group, COSCO Group, CITIC Pacific, China Railway Group, Air China, China Wind Power, China Film Group, Vanke, Poly Real Estate, China Netcom, China TieTong Telecommunications Corporation, HSBC, SCB, National Bank of Canada, and Wharf Group

  • Led several restructuring financing projects, such as the USD 2.7 billion financing project of CNOOC and Shell Huizhou and the USD 4.5 billion debt restructuring of Guangdong Enterprises

  • Served as lead PRC counsel for dozens of M&A and restructuring  projects to heavyweights such as China National Petroleum Corporation, China Mobile, China Water Resources and Electric Power, Sinochem, CITIC Pacific, New World, CITIC Trust, Bank of China International, China General Nuclear Power, Universal Music, Li Ning, Sohu, Guohua Real Estate, etc.
