Shiwei ZHANG
Mr. Zhang's principal areas of focus are capital market, PE, and M&A. Since he began his legal career in private practice in 1999, he has advised prominent international investment banks/PE funds and PRC private-sector companies and state-owned enterprises in hundreds of cross-border M&A, domestic and overseas IPO and listing on Shanghai Stock Exchange (Main Board and STAR Market), Shenzhen Stock Exchange (Main Board and ChiNext), HKEX, NYSE, and NASDAQ, in the full spectrum of sectors, from AI, big data, cloud computing, new energy, TMT to semi-conductor, bio-tech, high-end manufacture, commerce and consumption, etc. Such abundant experiences, combined with reliable professional skills, allow Mr. Zhang to successfully accommodate clients' commercial needs with Chinese laws and regulatory framework. As such, the amounts of onshore and offshore capital market and M&A deals he has counseled have totaled over 200 billion US dollars.
