Yuanyuan ZHU

Yuanyuan Zhu specializes in securities litigation, securities compliance and corporate litigation. She has represented dozens of securities companies, listed companies and their responsible persons in response to civil compensation litigation for securities misrepresentation, including the first case that applied securities dispute model judgment mechanism in China, the first national civil compensation suit for securities misrepresentation filed by a non-public offering subscriber and the first share repurchase dispute arising from delisting. Many cases Ms. Zhu had represented were selected as China’s “Top 10 Influential Suits of the Year”, “Top 10 Civil, Administration and State Compensation Cases” and “Top 10 Commercial Cases of the People’s Courts”. In the securities compliance area, she has advised on many high-profile mandates, such as China’s first case of ETF manipulation, the first case of market manipulation by the NEEQ market maker in China and the first case where a technical service provider was suspected of illegally operating securities business. Ms. Zhu is skillful in handling various types of commercial disputes arising from corporate governance and operation, including disputes over the validity of corporate resolutions, equity transfer, control of companies, valuation adjustment mechanism, etc.
