Partner Zhu Maoyuan Wins Honor of “Outstanding Person of Chinese Economy in 2010”
Mr. Zhu Maoyuan, a senior partner of Zhong Lun Law Firm has become the first Chinese lawyer to be honored as one of “Outstanding Persons of Chinese Economy in 2010" at the 2010 China Economic Development Forum on January 9, 2011.
With guidance and support from the United Nations Development Program, the forum was jointly hosted by the Economic Information newspaper affiliated with Xinhua News Agency and China International Center for Economic and Technical Exchanges under the Ministry of Commerce.
Five awards were given at the forum, after nominations by the forum’s organizing committee, discussions and evaluations by the experts, which included “Outstanding Persons of Chinese Economy in 2010" (100 people won the honor) and “China’s Most Innovative Cities of 2010" (10 cities got the awards).
Mr. Chen Changzhi, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, announced the opening of the forum and handed out the certificates of the awards to the award-winning individuals and cities together with other leaders.
