Zhong Lun Wins Finance Deal of the Year at The Asia Legal Awards 2023

On March 30, 2023, American Lawyer Media (ALM) released the winners of The Asia Legal Awards 2023. Zhong Lun garnered the Finance Deal of the Year for the project “Blackstone Group’s financing for acquisition of Interplex Holdings".

On January 20, 2022, Blackstone (NYSE: BX) announced that private equity funds managed by it had acquired Interplex, a global leader in innovative and customized connector solutions for the auto, medical and information communications technology markets, from Baring Private Equity Asia’s affiliated private equity funds.

Zhong Lun, as the Chinese legal advisor to the acquiring party-Blackstone Group, provided professional and efficient PRC legal services, including conducting legal due diligence on the target company, reviewing transaction documents and providing PRC legal advice, reviewing financing documents and counseling on guarantee of Chinese assets, and assisting in the closing of the deal. Our work has obtained high recognition from clients and other intermediaries.
