Jihong Wang has deep expertise in a variety of domains, including construction engineering and real estate, infrastructure, energy and natural resources, and ecological environment, boasting over 20 years of considerable practice experience. Leveraging her professional expertise, she has provided legal support for infrastructure projects invested by domestic and foreign clients in more than 50 countries across five continents. Notably, she has meaningfully contributed to numerous iconic Sino-foreign engineering and infrastructure projects with international influence, such as the new headquarters of China Central Television (CCTV), the National Stadium, and the China-Laos Railway.
In recent years, Ms. Wang has focused her practice on the energy and natural resources sector. She serves as Vice Chair of the Environment and Energy Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) China National Committee and Member of the ICC Climate Change Commission, among other positions. She has accumulated profound knowledge and project experience in diverse energy types, including photovoltaic power, wind power, nuclear power, hydrogen energy, hydropower, pumped storage, geothermal energy, biomass power, and thermal power. With a proven track record in tackling complex legal challenges, Ms. Wang consistently delivers feasible solutions to clients. She maintains an equilibrium between safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of both Chinese and foreign clients and ensuring the smooth implementation of projects, earning wide recognition and trust from clients.
Ms. Wang also possesses extensive expertise in ecological and environmental legal matters. As a legal consultant to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, she has deeply participated in the study, drafting, and revision of laws, regulations, and policies in China's ecological and environmental sphere. She has built significant professional credentials in key domains such as ecological and environmental legislation, administrative law enforcement, environmental crisis response and compliance, as well as ecological governance, environmental remediation, and compensation.
