Zhong Lun Partner Binbin Named to 2026 ALB China Top 15 Litigators
On April 20, 2026, Asian Legal Business (ALB) published the list of “2026 ALB China Top 15 Litigators”, and Zhong Lun partner Binbin Sun was honored with this recognition.
Ms. Sun holds master’s degrees from Renmin University of China and the University of California, Berkeley. A seasoned expert with over 20 years of experience in dispute resolution, she specializes in litigation and arbitration, bankruptcy liquidation and restructuring, as well as commercial criminal matters. She brings extensive experience to managing complex, high-stakes disputes arising from corporate equity and shareholder rights, financial trust arrangements, large-scale commercial projects, dissolution and liquidation, and intellectual property. Throughout her career, Ms. Sun has represented clients in hundreds of civil and commercial litigation and arbitration cases across all judicial levels, including before the Supreme People’s Court, as well as at prominent arbitration institutions. Many of her successful cases have established landmark precedents across multiple sectors, while also serving as practical guidance for the protection of parties’ rights and interests.
Ms. Sun is recognized as a leading talent under the Shanghai Oriental Talent Program and is a member of the Shanghai Distinguished Legal Talent Pool. She currently serves as a member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and as a member of the Judicial and Supervisory Committee of the People’s Congress. She is also a member of the Arbitration and Mediation Committee of the All China Lawyers Association, a council member of the Shanghai Bar Association, Director of the Corporate and Investment Committee of the Shanghai Arbitration Association, and Director of the Mediation Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association. In addition, she serves as a senior arbitrator at several arbitration institutions. Her previous roles include Standing Committee Member and Deputy Director of the Legal Sector of the Shanghai Youth Federation, a council member of the 8th Shanghai Young Entrepreneurs Association, and Vice President of the Shanghai Women Lawyers Association. Ms. Sun has received numerous honors, including Shanghai Outstanding Female Lawyer, Outstanding Young Lawyer, the “March 8th Red Banner Holder,” the “May 4th Youth Medal,” and recognition as one of Shanghai’s Most Outstanding Consumer Rights Protection Figures, as well as being named one of the Top 10 Debaters in the Shanghai Lawyers’ Debate Competition. She has also been repeatedly recognized by leading international legal publications such as Asian Legal Business (ALB) for her excellence in dispute resolution, contributing her professional expertise to the advancement of the rule of law in China.
