The internationally renowned legal media 《Asian Law 》 published an article titled 《Best of the Best: Local Law Firms Poll 》, explaining Asialaw’s second Leading Local Law Firms Poll. The Poll ranked Zhong Lun Law Firm as the best “corporate and commercial" law firm in China for its high-quality legal services and outstanding achievements.
The article stated that Zhong Lun Law Firm shows notable achievements in corporate and commercial practice. Zhong Lun has 3 offices and nearly 200 lawyers and staff and its position has been strengthened by October 2004 merger with the well-respected Yi Wen Law Firm. Notable corporate work includes acting as domestic counsel on Vivendi Universal Entertainment’s US$875 million joint venture through Universal Parks & Resorts along with two Chinese partners to construct a Universal Studios theme park in Shanghai.
The article also gave a brief intro duction to partner Anthony Zhao and commented “he comes in for particular praise as an excellent lawyer who is able to creatively structure matters to permit clients to achieve their objectives."
