Zhong Lun Became a Member of Beijing Counselors Group for Overseas Chinese
On December 20, 2006, the Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs, People’s Government of Beijing Municipality held a conference for the establishment of a Beijing Counselors Group for Overseas Chinese. 15 excellent overseas Chinese invested enterprises in Beijing attended the conference. Sun Anmin (Vice Mayor, People’s Government of Beijing Municipality), Li Haifeng (Deputy Director, Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs of the State Counsel), You Lantian (Director-General, United Front Department, CPC Beijing Municipal Committee), Qiao Wei (Director, Beijing Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs) and Dong Chunjiang (Deputy Director-General, Justice Bureau of Beijing Municipality) attended the conference and delivered speeches. Sun Anmin delivered an important speech and You Lantian awarded engagement letters to members of the Counselors Group. Dong Chunjiang encouraged Beijing attorneys to provide legal services and carry out policies for overseas Chinese and returned Chinese scholars so as to protect their lawful interests .
