Zhong Lun and CSF Successfully Held the First Annual Meeting of CSF
On October 24, 2006, the first annual meeting of the China Securitization Forum (CSF) i.e. the formal establishment meeting of CSF is successfully held in the Great Wall Sheraton Hotel. Zhong Lun Law Firm was the only co-sponsor of the meeting. Attorney Zhang Xuebing, the director of CSF and team leader of securitization projects at Zhong Lun, attended the meeting and made a keynote speech titled "Legal Comments on Trend of Securitization Experimental Units in China".
Li Fuan (Director of Business Innovation Supervision and Coordination Department in China Banking Regulatory Commission), Shen Bingxi (Deputy Director of Financial Market Department in People’s Bank of China) and Hu Bing (Deputy Director of Market Supervision Department in China Security Regulatory Commission) made speeches and remarks at the meeting. The Legal Affairs Office of the State Council, the Supreme People’s Court, Ministry of Finance, National Tax Administration Bureau, Ministry of Labor and Social Security, National Development and Reform Committee, China Insurance Regulatory Commission, China Government Securities Depository Trust & Clearing Co., Ltd. and China Foreign Exchange Trading System & National Interbank Funding Center all assigned personnel to this annual meeting. About 200 people from domestic and foreign initiating institutes, trusted institutes, transaction arrangers, transaction managers, capital custodian institutes, lending services institutes, law firms, accounting firms and rating agencies participated the first annual meeting of CSF and brought the latest information in their respective expertise. This meeting is praised by many institutes as one of the highest quality professional meetings on securitization.
CSF, supported by relevant regulatory departments and set up by institutes in securitization industry, is a communication platform to promote the healthy development of the securitization market in China, encourage innovation and increase of efficiency. CSF is a non-governmental, non-profit, site fixed forum and will reflect the voice of securitization industry as well as establish a bridge between the regulatory departments through various means. Zhong Lun Law Firm is one of the initiating members of the Forum. The Secretariat of the CSF is in Zhong Lun Law Firm and Attorney Liu Borong is the Secretary General and Xu Chang is the Secretary of the Forum.
