Zhong Lun Advises on Hong Kong Highpower Technology’s IPO on AMEX
Zhong Lun advised Hong Kong Highpower Technology, Inc.（Amex: HPJ）in its recent initial public offering and listing of shares on the American Stock Exchange (AMEX). Zhong Lun’s legal team, including partners Jack Lai and Richard Zou and legal assistants Jinglei Feng and Xuan Zhang, provided legal advice on the offering as PRC counsels.
Hong Kong Highpower Technology, Inc. is a company focusing on the development, manufacture and marketing of rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) and Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries and related products. It issued 603,750 shares of its common stock at $3.25 per share, including exercise of the over-allotment option. WestPark Capital, Inc. acted as the underwriter. The net proceeds from this offering are to be used for working capital and general corporate purposes.
