Lawyer Zhang Ping from Wuhan Office Speaks at CPPCC Session
From 11 to 16 February, 2011, Zhang Ping, a senior lawyer from Zhong Lun Law Firm Wuhan office, attended and spoke on the sidelines of the fifth plenary session of the eleventh Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in Wuhan, central China’s Hubei province.
On February 14, Zhang attended a forum and spoke with a brief introduction of the law firm to the participants and invited the acting mayor of the city to visit the law firm’s Wuhan office. The acting mayor readily accepted the invitation and urged the lawyers to contribute more to the legal compliance from both governments and the public.
Zhang Ping submitted four proposals and was interviewed by the local radio station and TV station during the session.
