Partner Peter Ni was invited to speak at IBA’s 18th Annual International Wealth Transfer Practice Conference and NYSBA and STEP NY’s 9th Annual International Estate Planning Institute respectively
Partner Peter Ni was recently invited to speak at IBA’s 18th Annual International Wealth Transfer Practice Conference in London and NYSBA and STEP NY’s 9th Annual International Estate Planning Institute in New York respectively. Peter’s topics were “The current state and future state of China’s private wealth planning" and “Planning for Chinese nationals with assets outside China" and there were about 400 attendees in total. As China’s high net worth individuals’’ wealth continues to grow and as more and more of those individuals continue to immigrate to other countries, critical issues such as asset protection, tax and succession planning as a result of different legal regimes have become their top concerns. Peter’s presentations and his sense of humor were well received by the attendees.
