Mr. Wantao Yang and Ms. Emilia Shi Were Invited to Attend the “Seminar on Transaction Structure Design of Investment and Merger & Acquisition” and Gave Speech
On November 21, 2013, the “Seminar on Transaction Structure Design of Investment and Merger & Acquisition" was held in the New World Shanghai Hotel. The seminar was held by EverPro Consulting and Mr. Wantao Yang and Ms. Emilia Shi, partners at Zhong Lun Law Firm Shanghai Office, were invited to attend the seminar and gave speeches. The audiences were legal counsels and business development managers of a number of multinational corporations including Merck Chemicals, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Saurer Group and GlaxoSmithKline. The two partners spoke on the most hotly argued topics in foreign investment merge & acquisitions, e.g. the module and legal risk of VIE structure and the most recent legal update on Valuation Adjustment Mechanism. They and the other attendees also had a round-table discussion on a variety of issues to best structure an acquisition deal featured by different projects. The two partners wowed the participants of the seminar with their wonderful lecture.
