Zhong Lun Partner Jimmy Huang Was Appointed as Expert in The Intellectual Property Expert Mediation Think Tank by Shenzhen City Nanshan District People’s Court
On 22 July 2018, Shenzhen City Nanshan District People’s Court held an expert appointment ceremony for the Intellectual Property Expert Mediation Think Tank. Letters of Appointment were awarded to Zhong Lun partner Mr. Jimmy Huang and other experts.
In 2014, the Nanshan District People’s Court creatively applied internet technology in the examination of lawsuits and founded the first “Internet Examination Center for Intellectual Property Cases" in the country. In November 2017, Nanshan District People’s Court further established “Internet Mediation Center for Intellectual Property Cases (Circuit Court for Intellectual Property)".Inviting industry experts in the examination and mediation of intellectual cases can be helpful to fact finding and dispute resolution of cases. To institutionalize and normalize this approach, the Nanshan District People's Court established the first Intellectual Property Expert Mediation Think Tank and appointed 20 professional talents in the field of intellectual property to directly participate in the mediation of major, difficult and complex cases or to provide professional advice.
