Zhong Lun Represents MOFCOM in Subsidy Reinvestigations Initiated by Canada
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) launched reinvestigations on June 9, 2011 with regard to subsidy determinations made as a result of the original investigations concerning imports of Seamless Tubes and OCTG from China.
Zhong Lun Law Firm International Trade Team is representing the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) as well as some relevant local governments to respond to the investigations; and in addition, the Trade Law Team is also representing Tianjin PIPE (Group) Corporation.
The deadline to submit the responses is set on 18 July, 2011 and the Trade Law Team is at present in the process of collecting factual evidence in order to present submissions and rebuttals to the CBSA on time. The entire proceeding is expected to be completed by November 2011.
