Zhong Lun Engaged to Advise on China’s Tallest “China Zun” Construction Project

On August 22nd, 2013, Mr. Zhu Maoyuan and Mr. Zhang Jiong, partners from Zhong Lun Beijing Office, attended the signing ceremony of the legal services for “China Zun" construction project located at Z15 Plot, Central Business District (“CBD"), Beijing. China Zun is invested in by Beijing CITIC Heye Investment Company Limited, the subsidiary wholly owned by CITIC Group, with an expected total investment of RMB24 billion. China Zun is planned for office space with 7 underground floors and 108 aboveground floors, totaling a GFA of around 437,000 square meters. Upon the completion of the construction, China Zun, with a building height of around 528 meters, will stand higher than China World Trade Center Tower III, currently the tallest building in Beijing.

As the signing ceremony closes, the Zhong Lun project construction team led by Mr. Zhu Maoyuan and Mr. Zhang Jiong has successfully won the contracts from the owners of 4 out of 15 plots located at the CBD core area. The other three projects advised by Zhong Lun are Z2b Plot Project of Beijing Samsung Property Co., Ltd., Z12 Plot Project of Taikang Property Co., Ltd. and Z8 Plot Project of China Investment Corporation.
