Zhong Lun Provides Legal Services for Acquisition of Elsker by Johnson & Johnson
On January 25, 2013, Zhong Lun advised Shanghai Elsker Mother & Baby Co., Ltd. (“Elsker")Johnson & Johnson (China) Investment Ltd. (“Johnson & Johnson") completed the acquisition of 100% equity interests of. As the result, Elsker became the wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson.
Founded in 2006, Elsker is a leading Chinese brand and manufacturer of natural mother and baby skincare products for the domestic market. Zhong Lun team led by Jane Fan and Lingyun Dai has been providing legal services to Elsker since 2009.
As the leading counsel of Elsker, Zhong Lun played key role in negotiations with Johnson & Johnson and communications with the shareholders of Elsker during the transaction. Zhong Lun’s team was led by Shanghai partner Jane Fan, assisted by Lingyun Dai, Flora Wu, and Feiya Zhong.
