The CIB Fund Management Co., Ltd. recently received the approval for its establishment from China Banking Regulatory Commission (“CBRC"), which is one of the first two projects approved by CBRC since CBRC released the policy regarding further expansion of the pilot project of establishment of fund management companies by commercial banks. CIB Fund Management Co., Ltd. was jointly initiated by Industrial Bank Co., Ltd. and China Shipping Investment Co., Ltd. with a registered capital of RMB 500 million. Zhong Lun Law Firm represented China Shipping Investment Co., Ltd. in connection with this project.
The Zhong Lun team was led by capital market partner Bill Shang and included associates Jesse Huang, Effie Ma and Lillian Zou.
