Zhong Lun Advises HWPG on Disposal of the Commercial Property Located in Century Place Tower in Shenzhen
Hutchison Whampoa Property Group (“HWPG"), the investment arm of Hutchison Whampoa Limited (00013.HK), has recently reached an agreement with Bank of Communications, Shenzhen Branch (03328.HK) relating to the sale and purchase of the commercial properties of Century Place Tower in Shenzhen.
Catherine Guo and Furong Deng, the partners based in Zhong Lun’s Shenzhen office, led a team consisting of Alice Qiu, Elaine Liu, Robin Zhang and Shirley Wang to advise HWPG for the aforesaid transaction.
Zhonglun also advised HWPG on disposal of the office property of Century Place Tower in early 2013. The Century Place Tower is located in the most prosperous Huaqiang North Commercial Circle and is recognized as the landmark property in the region. The transaction is reportedly known as the largest single property deal in Shenzhen in the past 32 years and is full of significance.
