Zhong Lun Advises on Qeeka’s IPO in Hong Kong
On July 12, 2018, Qeeka Home (Cayman) Inc. (stock code: 1739.HK) announced the closing of its initial public offering on the main board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, raising total gross proceeds of approximately HK$1,174 million prior to the exercise of the over-allotment option. Goldman Sachs and CLSA acted as joint sponsors for the offering.
Jia.com, operated by Qeeka Home, is the largest interior design and construction online platform in China, according to Frost & Sullivan, with a market share of 25.7% by GMV in 2017. Qeeka Home is also the first PRC-based company in the internet interior design and construction sector that is publicly listed in Hong Kong.
Zhong Lun Law Firm acted as Qeeka’s PRC legal counsel in this offering. The legal project from Zhong Lun was led by Anthony Zhao, and included Sammy Hsia, Roy Zheng, Lindsay Zhang and Irene Zhang. Zhong Lun has acted as Qeeka’s legal counsel since 2014, advising Qeeka on its red-chip restructuring, two rounds of equity financing and various investments.
