Zhong Lun Advises New Classics Media on Selling Its 100% Interests to China Literature Limited
On August 13, 2018, China Literature Limited (00772.HK) announced that it has entered into an agreement with Tencent Mobility and the management of New Classics Media to acquire 100% interests of New Classics Media and its related operations for a maximum consideration of RMB15.5 billion.
Zhong Lun, as the vendors’ Hong Kong legal adviser, has provided full legal services for this project. The legal team from Zhong Lun was led by Henry Lau and Kenneth Lam , and supported by Li Ya and Hu Jun .
New Classics Media is principally engaged in production and distribution of television series, web series and films, and has produced a number of popular television series, web series and films across difference genres.
