Zhong Lun Advises Mobvoi on Its Successful Listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange
On April 24, 2024, Mobvoi Inc. (出门问问有限公司) (stock ticker: Mobvoi, stock code: 02438.HK) made its initial public offering and was successfully listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (“Hong Kong Stock Exchange"). Mobvoi issued 84,568,000 shares under the global offering, of which 8,457,000 shares were publicly offered in Hong Kong.
Zhong Lun Law Firm as the Hong Kong and PRC legal advisor for Mobvoi’s global offering and listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, provided a full range of legal services throughout the entire listing process. This project is another one of the numerous listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange which Zhong Lun has participated in, leveraging resources from its offices in the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong office of Zhong Lun served as the Hong Kong legal counsel for Mobvoi’s listing and was responsible for drafting the prospectus. The project team was led by partner Jaycen Liao, with associate Kelly Tsoi playing a key role. Members of the team also include Bobby Yung, Cecilia Lam, Barry Chan, and Rita Chiu.
The Beijing office of Zhong Lun served as the Chinese mainland legal counsel for the project. The project team was led by partners Zhoujun Tang and Jingli Mu, with associate Dandan Wang serving a pivotal role. The team also includes Yidan Shang and Chuanliang Liu. In addition, partners Peng Cai and associate Pulingling Xiao provided legal advice on the issuer’s data and AIGC compliance issues. Partner Mark Gao and non-equity partner Ashley Hu advised the issuer on tax-related issues.
