On 22nd May, Zhong Lun Law Firm held a partners’ meeting in Beijing. Department heads, regional office directors and Beijing partners attended this meeting. During the meeting, partners reviewed performance by different departments and regional branches through end of April 2005. Partners also discussed other issues, inter alias, relating to market development plan and cooperation between different departments.
In light of facilitating the cooperation between partners, as part of the agenda, the firm hosts a salon (once for a month) to discuss the issues concern partners the most. The topic for this month is Strategies and Skills for Business Development. The firm invited Mr. Pei, a well-known Chinese law expert to deliver an opening speech, mostly on business development skills, especially on website construction, article publication, media relationship, promotion materials, data management, development of partnership and client managing skills. Mr. Zhang Xuebing led in-depth discussions on several hot issues, such as marketing development deficiency of newly admitted partners, further expansion of developed market of senior partners, and effective utilization of platform provided by the firm and holding out other excellent partners.
