On October 22, Zhong Lun Law Firm partner Michael Zhengping Gu delivered, upon invitation, a lecture on M&A of China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (“CNMC") in the Post-Crisis Era at the second series of legal training held by the CNMC.
The lecture, on the basis of CNMC’s "going out" strategies, centered on four aspects, namely, M&A strategies and objectives, structuring, procedures and related transaction documents. His lecture was highly praised by the participants as enlightening and practical because of its theoretical depth and practical guidance. The lecture, with in-depth analysis of many influential M&A transactions both at home and abroad, also addressed quite a number of legal matters and risks related thereto in the M&A practice.
The training was chaired by Mr. Zhang Keli, CNMC’s secretary of the Party Committee and vice general manager. More than 80 participants from various departments of the CNMC attended the training.
