Zhong Lun Hosts Forum on West Development and Legal Service in Modern Investment and Finance
Sichuan Province Lawyers Association and Zhong Lun Law Firm jointly sponsored and held the forum themed “West Development and Legal Service in Modern Investment and Finance" in Chengdu, Southwest China’s Sichuan Province, On February 28, 2011.
The forum was chaired by Fan Bin, director of the law firm’s Chengdu office. The law firm’s managing partner Zhang Xuebing attended the forum and delivered an opening speech. During the forum, seven speakers, including the law firm’s partners Wu Peng, Zhu Maoyuan and Yang Wantao, also delivered speeches on the hot and thorny legal matters in cross-border M&A, international arbitration, land development, capital markets and private equity investment. Partner Anthony Qiao from the law firm’s Shanghai office concluded the forum with a speech.
The forum, co-organized by Chengdu Lawyers Association and Zhong Lun Law Firm Chengdu office, attracted more than 116 participants from the provincial and city governments, enterprises, law firms and the media. The forum was aimed to celebrate the opening of the law firm’s Chengdu office and strengthen the law firm’s presence in the region.
