Partner Cheng Jun Addresses State-owned Enterprises Development Forum
The State-owned Enterprises Development Forum, sponsored by the China Economic Publishing House and the First Financial Daily and themed “Go Out and Enhance International Competitiveness", was held on October 29, 2011 in Beijing. Participants included governmental officials from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and the National Development and Reform Commission, and management from over 60 state-owned companies and foreign-owned banks.
Zhong Lun Law Firm partner Cheng Jun delivered a speech upon invitation in connection with widely concerned issues of how to deal with the host nations during outbound investment at a round table meeting. Mr. Cheng emphasized that the following relations needed to be addressed in outbound investment, namely, relation with local employees; relation with trade unions; relation with local communities; and relation with local media.
Mr. Cheng’s pragmatic style and multiple solutions in the speech deeply impressed the audience, which fully demonstrated the law firm’s competitive advantages in the practice area.
