Partner Zhou Yun invited to speak at IBA’s European Corporate and Private M&A Conference
On February 2nd and 3rd, 2017, IBA held its 5th European Corporate and Private M&A Conference in Paris, France.
Partner Zhou Yun of Zhong Lun is the first PRC lawyer to be invited to this conference as a speaker, in order to address various legal and cultural aspects of Chinese investments in European countries. This fifth consecutive event was by far the most successful, and the panel “Thanks, but no thanks – foreign investment control in Europe with a focus on Chinese inbound investments" with Mr. Zhou’s participation was very well received.
The event was presented by the IBA Corporate and M&A Law Committee, of which Mr. Zhou is an officer, also the first Chinese lawyer to serve as officer in the committee’s history. The various attendees included European and international lawyers, in-house counsel, investment bankers, accountants and specialists from mergers and acquisitions business involved in European M&A.
