Recently, Zhong Lun Partner, Frank JIANG has been invited to attend the 2024 Antitrust Writing Awards Ceremony organized by Concurrences (a globally respected antitrust publisher) and George Washington University Competition Law Center in Washington DC, U.S.A. The Ceremony was held during the American Bar Association (“ABA") Antitrust Law Section 72nd Annual Spring Meeting, which has become an annual largest gathering of competition and consumer protection professionals from around the world, including more than 3,800 government enforcement officials, private attorneys, in-house corporate counsel, academics, judges, economists and businesspeople from 64 countries, with the programs covering a broad range of national and global antitrust and competition issues.
During the Ceremony, Zhong Lun article “Highlights on China’s New IPR Antitrust Related Rules/Guidelines", authored by Frank Jiang (partner), John Jiang (counsel), and associates Megan Li and Shirley Chen, received the “Best Antitrust Business Article" award in the “Asia and Oceania (Readers’ Choice)" category at the 2024 Antitrust Writing Awards. This marks a significant milestone for Zhong Lun, as it is known as their first time receiving such honor. The Antitrust Writing Awards aims to highlight exceptional antitrust publications from around the world. With over a dozen articles nominated, the aforementioned article distinguished itself by providing an insightful analysis of the key practical issues surrounding China’s latest enforcement and compliance trends in the IPR antitrust field. Its selection for this esteemed award further affirms Zhong Lun’s expertise and thought leadership in helping clients navigate the complexities of antitrust compliance and enforcement.
Frank specializes in antitrust/competition, national security review, ESG and M&A, and has worked on hundreds of matters in a variety of industries, including aerospace, automobile, chemistry, energy, engineering, FMCG, healthcare, ICT, real estate, etc. Frank has been the lead compliance counsel in a number of high-profile investigation/litigation, mergers & acquisitions and joint venture projects, is responsible for coordinating domestic and international teams, producing documents and communicating with relevant regulatory authorities. Frank has authored dozens of articles and publications in compliance area, and has actively participated in the legislative activities organized by authorities.
