Zhong Lun advised a top PE fund in its investment in Zhihu
Recently, Zhihu has publicly announced that it has closed its Series E financing in an aggregate amount of US$270 million. After this round of financing, Zhihu will accelerate the development of its online question and answer sharing platform and increase its investment in, among other things, AI technology, content ecosystem, knowledge service and commercialization.
Zhong Lun acted as the legal counsel to a top PE fund and an insurance institution in this deal, and provided the clients with legal services throughout the transaction. This deal was led by partners Tingfeng Hu, David Xu and Zanxin Zeng, undertaken by partner Chuan Wang, and supported by special counsel Jingbo Hou and associates Jing Yang, Liya Tao and Jun Ye.
