Zhong Lun Law Firm advises on investment by Zhejiang CFMOTO Power Co., Ltd. in KTM Industries AG
KTM is a leading motorcycle manufacturer in Europe. KTM currently has two renowned motorcycle brands KTM and Husqvarna, along with two accessories brands WP and Pankl. In this transaction, CFMOTO purchased minority equity interest in KTM from the Seller through CFMOTO’s wholly owned subsidiary Helmsmen Company Limited.
Zhong Lun Law Firm advised Zhejiang CFMOTO Power Co., Ltd. (CFMOTO) listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange, on its acquisition of a minority interest in KTM Industries AG (KTM) listed on Zurich and Vienna Stock Exchange from Pierer Industrie AG (Seller). The Zhong Lun team was led by Vincent Chen and Xiaoming Song, supported by associates Na Zhao, Mingkai Wang and Yun Lu.
As a leading motorcycle manufacturer in China, the acquisition will be key to CFMOTO’s continued success both domestically and internationally as CFMOTO and KTM complement each other’s advantages in areas such as technology, market and cost.
