Zhong Lun Advises on Conch Environment’s Listing by way of Introduction in Hong Kong

On March 30, 2022, China Conch Environment Protection Holdings Limited (Conch Environment, 0587.HK), a leading player providing eco-friendly and cost-efficient treatment of industrial solid and hazardous waste in China, announced its successful spin-off from China Conch Venture Holdings Limited (0586.HK) and listing by way of introduction of the entire issued share capital on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. CICC and HSBC acted as the joint sponsors for the listing.

Conch Environment was the largest cement kiln waste treatment service provider in terms of revenue in China in 2020, and also the largest industrial solid and hazardous waste treatment service provider using cement kiln waste treatment technologies in China in 2020 in terms of treatment capacity in operation and treatment volume.

Zhong Lun acted as the PRC legal advisor for the joint sponsors in the listing. The legal team from Zhong Lun was led by partners Anthony Zhao, Jihong Wang and William Jia, and included non-equity partner Jihai Xia and associates Summer Huang, Yonghao Dong, Myron Hu, Chen Sun, Violet Zhang, etc.
