Managing Partner Zhang Xuebing and Senior Partner John Jiang Delivered Keynote Speech at the Dialogue Session with the Lord Mayor of the City of London
Mr. Zhang Xuebing, managing partner of Zhong Lun, and Mr. John Jiang, head of Zhong Lun’s Hong Kong office, jointly delivered keynote speech titled Development of Legal Profession in China, the Case of Zhong Lun and East – West Cooperation at a dialogue session with the Lord Mayor of the City of London held in the Westin Hotel Financial Street, Beijing on September 14, 2010.
During the panel session, John Jiang, Partner of Zhong Lun had an in-depth discussion with Rt. Hon. Nicholas Anstee, Lord Mayer of the City of London, Mr. Alderman, Sheriff of the City of London, James North, Senior Programme Manager to the Rt. Hon., and David Barnes, Partner of Linklaters LLP on the historical development of China’s legal profession and current trends, as well as the evolution of the financial and legal service sectors in the City of London, and potential opportunities for closer co-operations between Chinese and English legal practitioners.
The event was organized by Britain Law Institute in association with Zhong Lun Law Firm, and attracted over 50 guests, including many senior legal professionals from well-known law firms at home and abroad, as well as a number of business leaders from multi-national and domestic companies.
