ZHANG Xuebing and QIAO Wenjun of Zhong Lun elected as director and deputy director, respectively, of newly established Professional Committees of the All China Lawyers Association
On 23 December 2012, the All China Lawyers Association (ACLA) held a conference in Beijing for the establishment of various new Professional Committees. During the conference, the ACLA resolved to set up six new Professional Committees for legal professionals in the following areas: Government Legal Counsel, Enterprise Legal Counsel, Rural Area Legal Counsel, Arbitration, Taxation, and Anti-monopoly. The ACLA also created a new Professional Committee for Construction and Real Estate practice area, which was carved out from the existing Professional Committee for Civil Affairs. ZHANG Xuebing, managing partner of Zhong Lun, who serves as the vice chairman of the ACLA and also as the president of the Beijing Lawyers Association, was elected as the first director of the Professional Committee for the Arbitration practice area, and Anthony Wenjun QIAO, the co-managing partner of Zhong Lun, was elected as the deputy director of the Professional Committee for the Construction and Real Estate practice area.
