In September 2015, OCBC and ARA Asset Management (“ARA") have successfully entered into the financing documents in respect of the acquisition of Platinum by a real estate fund under ARA through offshore equity acquisition. OCBC Singapore and OCBC Bank (China) Limited granted offshore and onshore facilities to ARA for this project. The team of Zhong Lun Law Firm, led by Shirley Lu (partner) and also composed of Elaine Ye and Sophia Chen (associates) from Shanghai Office, acted as legal counsel for OCBC and provided full-range legal services for this acquisition financing project.
